Chapter 1
It was a fiery hot day. As I, Ralph was runing down the aisle for food, I stumbled over a stone. It was fiery red. "Everything seems fiery,"I muttered. I put the stone in my pack of groceries.
On the way home, I met a man. How peculiar, this man is,I thought.
"Have you seen a scarlet stone," he said coldly. "No," I lied. I did not know how much danger it would bring. The man seemed to look through my words, and walked away.
I did not meet anyone else on the way home.
